Terms and Conditions
Our booking agreement with you binds you and all members of your party, including children. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and members of your party are aware of, and accepts the whole of this agreement and its obligations. It is effective from the date our agreement is formed and continues until the last member of your party has left.
We have the right to cancel your booking, or to instruct you and your party to leave immediately, without compensation or refund should you not comply with any part of this agreement, especially the regulations relating to behaviour.
You may not advertise or resell your holiday. You may not bring any firearm or air weapon, archery equipment or similar item under any circumstances. No power kites small ordinary kites only.
The maximum number of occupants must be declared at time of booking.
Bookings for parties of all male or female people will not be accepted unless by prior consent. Where such parties may be found in residence they will be required to vacate and shall not be entitled to any refund or any compensation.
Prices include VAT and are subject to change should the VAT rate alter.
We do not accept cheque’s and take deposit card payments over the phone.
Golden Valley Caravan Park would like to remind guests that we are in no way responsible for the loss of, or damage to, your property while you are on the park. We recommend that you insure your personal effects, clothing and cash in the normal way before coming on holiday.
Golden Valley Caravan Park will not be held responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by acts of God including extreme weather conditions.
FORCE MAJEURE We cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for circumstances which amount to “force majeure”, which subsequently affect the provision of our service to you. The Park are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
Please note: If in wet weather, customers are unhappy with the grass serviced or un serviced camping pitch allocated, then another pitch will be offered. This pitch may be a gravel serviced pitch which we highly recommend for wet weather camping. This type of pitch allows you to camp as normal but without the mud you can get with a grass pitch. By offering our customers this alternative we feel that we have done everything we can to make your stay with us a much more pleasant experience if the weather is wet for long periods or your pitch is not suitable because of prolonged rain beforehand.
Our acknowledgement of your booking signifies acceptance of Golden Valley Caravan Parks terms & conditions.
Touring pitches are available from 12.00pm, on the day of arrival to 12.00 Noon on the day of departure.
In addition to your Touring Caravan and car parking space only one awning per touring pitch is permitted please keep within the boundary of your pitch. Only one vehicle per pitch, allowed extra vehicles will be charged at 5.00 per day, extra vehicles will be asked to park elsewhere on the site.
All guests must have respect for other visitors on the park (especially camping) noise levels must be kept to a minimum from 10:30pm until 8am. Guests who do not comply to the rule will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds.
Booking Deposit
When you book, you may be asked to pay a £40 (high season) & £20 (Low season) non-refundable deposit. The amount will be deducted off your total bill, however if you do not turn up or cancel for any reason, you will lose your deposit.
We take deposits over the telephone, please do not send cash over the post.
Safety
You must read the signs and obey the speed limit on the Park.
- Cyclists must give way to pedestrians.
- Parents MUST look after their children.
- It is recommended that appropriate safety helmets be worn when cycling and motorcycling.
- Do not use a scooter, cycle, skateboard or roller blades in any buildings or down the main steep hill.
- Please keep to footpaths only, no not go off track if so you are solely responsible.
- No drink driving.
- Strictly NO fires.
Dogs
The charge for a dog is payable on booking. Dogs must be exercised only on dog walking paths. Dogs must not be left unattended on this site. Unruly, noisy, messy dogs will not be tolerated and shall be treated as a breach of our terms and conditions.
Behaviour
Your behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night, all noise kept to a minimum after 10:30. You must show consideration to other guests and staff. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated.
Children’s supervision and parental responsibility
You are responsible for the supervision of all members of your party under the age of 18, you must supervise your children at all times!
Access and Vehicles
Please at all times:
- Observe the site speed limited
- Give way to pedestrians
- Keep to the left
- Drive, manoeuvre and park carefully
- Speed bumps/ Road Speed Sleepers. No liability is accepted for any damage caused by these.
Security of your property
Your personal belongings are your own responsibility during your stay on the park.
Any vehicle parked on our property is subject to very limited security cover. You must lock your vehicle and remove any valuables.
We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss or damage to your property unless such loss, damage or accident is demonstrably due to our negligence or that for whom we are legal responsible.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any public buildings. As we continue to improve accommodation and facilities and comply with Health & Safety legislation or other legal requirements, you may find that:
- Some facilities have been altered
- Listed facilities are temporarily closed for maintenance
- There is development or refurbishment work in certain areas although in such circumstances we try to minimise any inconvenience.
Data Protection
We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. Should you not wish to appear in any such material, please notify us on your arrival.
Brochure Content
The information supplied is correct at the time of going to press. Facilities may vary from the published. Golden Valley Caravan Park will endeavour to notify all customers of any significant changes. All rights are reserved to Golden Valley Caravan Park.
Reporting Procedure
In order for us to rectify any of your concern, please advise us of any problems or concerns immediately. We will endeavour to respond to these promptly in order for you to continue to enjoy your holiday.
Larger tents must fit onto standard sized pitches (including guy ropes), within 6 x 6 meters otherwise extra charges will be applied.
During Low Season the café and bar may be closed.
